About us

An independent coding club, run personally

ComputingClub.co.uk is a small, independent club that teaches young people aged 11-18 to code. It is not a franchise: every session is planned and taught by the person who runs it, so every learner is known by name.

What we teach

  • Ages 11-13: block coding, first steps in Python, games and creative projects.
  • Ages 14-16: Python, web development and support alongside GCSE computer science.
  • Ages 16-18: advanced projects, A-level support and building a portfolio.

How sessions work

Sessions run online, after school and during school holidays. Groups are small, so everyone gets time with the teacher. Each session ends with something built and working, from a game to a web page.

What you need

A laptop or desktop computer and an internet connection. Everything else we use is free software, and we will help you set it up.
